- I am looking for a small Tenant for the lobby of a building. Some one who maybe only wants to come in part time. The space is a very small nook, thinking of something more upscale than a shoe shine stand. Any suggestions?
Are there any membership fees to join theSmallTenant.com?
NO, there are no membership fees for using theSmallTenant.com. Guests search the properties and services available for free. Brokers, owners and service providers placing ads on the site pay for placement of the ad only.
Does theSmallTenant.com charge a commission?
No, theSmallTenant.com is not a brokerage company. We do not charge any commissions. Properties that are showcased on our site are placed there by either the listing broker or the property owner. We provide a link so you can contact them directly to make an appointment to see the property or contact them to get additional information.
How do I place a property ad?
You must register as an advertiser to post properties on the site. Go to the "Advertise Here" button on the left rail, fill out the registration information and we will send you instructions on how to place your property directly on the site. You must register because we use this information to provide the links for tenants to contact you directly when they are interested in getting more information about your property.
Can I change or edit my property ads?
You can change, edit, add pictures, delete or save you ad for later display by logging in to your advertiser account. Make the required changes and press save.
Do I need to register to search for space?
No, anyone can search for space for free. Just press the search button on the left rail and select the city where you are interested in finding space. It is best if you be as specific as possible. For instance, select Westport, CT if that is the town where you want space, if you select "New England" you will get all the properties listed in six states! To begin another search, click "Clear" and select a new location.
I am a broker - do I need a web site or home page to advertise my spaces?
No, theSmallTenant.com has all the technology you need. Our "Property Showcase" provides you a platform to put your listing on the web without having to have a website of your own. We have purchased sponsored links with Google, Yahoo and many other search engines to drive traffic to theSmallTenant.com site to give your listing maximum exposure on the web. Did you know that over 100,000 searches are done every month on the words "office space" through one search engine alone?

Hi Heather, that is really a challenge. I am not sure conventional advertising will accomplish this for you. Have you tried placing a sign in the lobby? Check with the local chamber of commerce. Sometimes they have the list of their members on-line. Perhaps you may find a company you think will be a fit and contact them directly. Hope that was a help.
